Principals Gene Marchi, LVN, RG, CLPFGene Marchi has been a respected authority in financial and care management since 1975. He is a licensed California Professional Fiduciary and a charter member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, a professional organization dedicated to ethics, continuing education and certification standards. He has been appointed to serve as conservator since 1985, and regularly teaches court-mandated educational and ethics workshops for non-professional conservators. Gene is certified as a Registered Guardian with the National Guardianship Association and is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care managers. In addition to being a licensed vocational nurse, Gene holds his degree in Social Work from San Francisco State University.  Travis Smith, EdM, MA, MFTTravis is a licensed California Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience in medical social work, hospice care, care management, financial assessment, advocacy, medical billing and hospital discharge planning. Travis holds Master's Degrees in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and in Education and Anthropology from Harvard University.
